Three Keys to helping Children Thrive in Today's World
1h 38m
About the webinar:
In this webinar Colleen and Patti outline three developmental processes that are responsible for helping children mature and thrive in today’s challenging world.
These three processes must develop in children in order for them to:
- have impulse control
- be socially responsible
- learn from their mistakes and be accountable
- be able to accept limits
- manage their frustration without erupting into aggression
- recover from painful experience, or wounding from peers
- take others into consideration, share, and cooperate
- venture forth from a place of passion and interest
- try new things
- become more independent and self-directed in learning
We will outline how these processes unfold, and at what ages.
We will detail:
- how attachment is supposed to unfold and how parents can provide a secure attachment for a child of any age.
- why some children are not maturing and not developing in ways that lead to growth and learning.
- what parents and educators can do to pave the way for positive change
so children can mature.
- how to create a safe environment for children and help promote these developmental processes through the adult/child relationship.
This webinar is foundational for how parents and teachers can deepen attachment with their children and help them flourish.
We include strategies, stories, and examples to bring theory to life.
This webinar is suitable for parents of children from toddlerhood to young adulthood.
Please note the webinar is for ADULTS ONLY.
