About the webinar:
Conflict between siblings can be a natural occurrence, but one that often drives parents crazy. Competition between siblings can be exasperating. In this live webinar, Colleen and Patti will discuss:
- the roots of aggression and impulsivity in children
- why sibling conflict is so prevalent.
- how to handle fighting
- how to cultivate caring behaviour between siblings.
- the pitfalls that can happen when trying to manage sibling conflict
- how to stay in charge during troubling behaviour
- how to foster connection and cooperation between children in the short term and long term.
- provide examples, stories, and opportunities for questions and answers to help bring our suggestions into everyday life.
This webinar is suitable for all parents or any professionals working with children. While the material can be applied to children of any age, we will focus our examples and stories on children up to early teen years.
